The Election of the new SCMA Committee and 2 Trustees
With all the candidates confirmed, all that is required is for you to decide who will lead your Masjid for the next 2 years In’Sha’Allah. 5 years for trustees.
Voting is for Members ONLY. Please remember to bring your Photo ID with proof of address so that this can be validated against the member’s register.
On the day of election, the voting will take place between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. This has been done to avoid congestion.
Counting will commence after the voting closes. Only candidates will be allowed during this time.
The AGM will occur with a presentation of the accounts from 7:00 pm and finish before Esha. The results will be officially available after Esha.

Please note that under NO circumstances any member will be allowed to challenge any respected member or office bearer at the time of voting. If this behaviour occurs their vote may be cancelled. CCTV system is in place.
Independent observers may be present to oversee the process
