Become a Lifesaver and learn vital basic life support skills at your local masjid on Saturday 28th September 2019.
The event is FREE of charge and always will be.
This year this will be happening at Sutton Coldfield Masjid!
Every year there are 30,000 cardiac arrests that happen OUTSIDE of a hospital or clinical environment. Of those, 1 in 10 survive. That’s 3000 people surviving. That’s also 27,000 dying.
British Islamic Medical Association’s project ‘Lifesavers’ has one primary aim: reduce the number of avoidable deaths in our communities by imparting SIMPLE but POWERFUL basic life support teaching in MASJIDS across the whole COUNTRY.
All teaching occurs in segregated, conducive and welcoming masjid environments, so we can equip all those in the Muslim community (and ANYONE – the masjid is open to everyone) with these life saving skills.
Send the link and the poster to your mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, pets etc etc
Who knows if YOU will be the one to save a life?
‘Save a life, Save mankind.’
